I've been praying for God to give me an adventure to go on for over a year....and He has really come through! I am absolutely in awe of His provision in my life, the blessings are overflowing. I feel like He has been working on me so much lately, and I can feel the change in me. He is preparing me for this big adventure and that gives me so much joy!
I am in love with the family that I will be living with, the Mascia family. I have skyped with them and am emailing the mother, Rosanna, constantly. They have two little boys, 5 & 8, and I can already tell that they will be a handful! So energetic! :) Reminds me of my own little brothers...
This family is so ready and willing to open up their lives to me and let me be apart of their family for two months, and that just astounds me. I am so amazed at their hospitality, and I'm not even there yet! But they are making me feel more and more comfortable about this whole thing. I am so blessed!
There is a lot to do, however, before I go over there...school for one thing. I still have five weeks of classes left and then finals. It feels like I have a lot of time before I leave, but I know that it will go by so fast. It always does, because time is a tricky fella. Speaking of school though, I have some homework I need to do before spring break is over. But thank you so much for reading my first blog post (mom and dad)!
I probably won't update for a while...but I will as the time comes closer to my departure, which is May 12th!! :)
